Nyx Professional Makeup, named after the Greek goddess who ruled the night, is an American cosmetics brand founded in Los Angeles in 1999. Its founder, Tony K, has worked in the world of make-up from a very young age and with Nyx Professional Makeup realised a dream: to create and distribute a line of super-professional, high quality, affordable cosmetics.
Growth was fast and the brand soon became iconic for beauty enthusiasts, until 2014, when it was acquired by the L'Oréal Group.
"Loved Online, Now In Store": already adored by make-up artists and bloggers around the world, in October 2015 the brand began its retail adventure, starting in California, where the 1st single-brand shop in the world was opened. Followed by Madrid, Milan, Rome, Lisbon ... the Nyx Professional Makeup adventure is touching all the major cities in Europe.
